The article, “Can the NDA Rise above its Shortcomings before the 2019 Polls?†, that appeared in Mainstream (February 9, 2019) under the pseudomym Suraj Sharma, was actually written by Dr Gaurav Dutt, IPS, who served as the Inspector General of Police in West Bengal till his retirement on December 31, 2018.
