The last sentence of para four of the ‘Editorial’ “Tamil Titan of National Eminence Departs†on page 2 in Mainstream (August 27, 2011) should read: “And the fact that three persons, who had come to the Rajaji Hall for a last glimpse of their leader, died in the stampede there was illustrative of the departed leader’s unquestionable popularity.â€

The heading of Humra Quraishi’s ‘Musings’ on page 26 of Mainstream (August 11, 2018) should read: “What happens to those excluded from the NRC?†
