CPI Condoles Demise of Mikhail Gorbachev

The National Secretariat of the Communist Party of India issued today (on August 31, 2022) the following message expressing party’s condolences at the demise of Mikhail Gorbachev:

The National Secretariat of the Communist Party of India expresses its deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences at the demise of former general secretary of Communist Party of Soviet Union (CPSU) and head of state of former Soviet Union. The former President of Soviet Union died on August 30 at the age of 91, after a serious and protracted ailment.

The National Secretariat expresses its deepest condolences to his family and friends.
