Indeed we live in wonderful times,
When absurdity is celebrated,
And when reciting poetry is deemed a national crime,
And speaking of poets frowned on.
Indeed we live in wonderful times,
When to speak to cows is not a crime,
Indeed we live in wonderful times,
When wonder showers eternal happiness.
Indeed now in wondrous times, the sun never sets
And when the rising of the crescent moon is banned,
Indeed wonderful and happy times have arrived,
When rays of happiness emanate from a mysterious hole in yonder House filled with mystery.
Indeed in these wonderful times,
We rush there to there to see the Light of Great Hope,
Peeping through the hole to see the Mysterious Light,
Indeed we live in wonderful times.
When we can snatch crumbs from the starving poverty struck bellies,
And when no one shouts “long live the revolution!”
Indeed these are wonderful times,
When we cannot merely love our neighbors, but also sodomize them.
And when lives are bulldozed,
Indeed these are wonderful times,
When fascist leaders bellow and bellow and bellow....
Stop complaining!
Prices are all fictions, as in petrol, diesel and food,
Indeed these are not Dark Times,
These are Enlightened Times,
These are Wonderful Times.
Enlightened Times that show us the Light of Hope emanating from a mysterious Hole
Of a Mysterious House that can never be bulldozed,
The House from where the lambs keep on screaming and screaming and screaming and screaming,
Indeed we live in wonderful times.
When we refuse to listen to the screams,
 Emanating from the House
That can never be bulldozed,
.....the House that we all built.
