Stéphane Dujarric, the Spokesperson of the United Nations Secretary-General called for an investigation into serious corruption allegations set out in the Al Jazeera investigative documentary, “All the Prime Minister’s Men”, broadcast on February 1st. “We are aware of the reporting by Al Jazeera Investigations concerning allegations of corruption against senior officials in Bangladesh and the press release issued by the Ministry of Defence of Bangladesh,” he said. “The allegation of corruption is a serious matter that should be investigated by the relevant authorities.”
