Corrigenda - 30 January 2010

Some errors have inadvertently crept into the editorial “Return to the Basics†in Mainstream Annual 2009 (dated December 26, 2009).

The second sentence in para three on column one, page 7 should read in part: †...it took in Singur and Nandigram in particular...â€

The third sentence in para two on column two, page 7 should read in part: †...rising temperatures is taken up in right earnest,...â€

The first sentence on first line in para one on column one, page 8 should read in part: †...in endorsing the US-sponsored accord thereby inviting sharp criticism...†.
