Corrigenda - 13 February 2016

The last sentence of the third paragraph of the editorial “Safeguard Constitutional Values†in Mainstream’s Republic Day Special (January 30, 2016) on page 5 should read: “Under such pressure the former VC’s decision to revoke the suspension of the five students, including Rohith, was rescinded.â€

The first sentence in the last paragraph of the article “The Lone Wolf Phenomenon†by Mohan K. Tikku on page 42 of the same issue should read: “But then, offering unidimensional and simplistic solutions to complex problems has been a familiar trait in American policy-making.â€

The fourth paragraph in the introduction to the Tribute to A.B. Bardhan on page 54 of the same issue has been inadvertently omitted. The paragraph reads: “Bardhan also headed the All India Adivasi Mahasabha. It was eminent CPI leader Bhowani Sen who played a prominent role in ensuring Bardhan’s election to that post.â€

These errors and omission are regretted.
