On November 4-5, 2013 a conference on “Media Engagements in Contemporary Times” will be held to offer tribute to N.C. on his birth centenary. Noted scholars, journalists, social activists and public figures will participate in the two-day conference. Some representatives from Pakistan and Bangladesh are expected to attend. It will take place at the IIC’s Conference Room II on both days from 10 am to 5 pm. It is being organised by the Centre for Media Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and Nikhil Chakravartty Memorial Foundation.
