Corrigendum - March 24, 2012

One sentence in the editorial “UPA in the Grip of a Fresh Crisis†on line 5, column one on page 3 of Mainstream (March 17, 2012) should read:

“But, as has been pointed out in The Times of India, ‘funds for modernisation can’t be mobilised solely from freight and passenger fares’.â€
