Narendra Modi’s search for opportunity in disasters!! | Suresh Kahairnar

#socialtagsThis is the mantra given to BJP by the current Prime Minister! Which he said in March 2020 during the first wave of Corona! When at that time no medicine for Corona had been invented! And due to it being a completely new disease, there was an atmosphere of panic in almost the entire world!
But this mantra was used by Narendra Modi in the initial phase of his political life after 27 February 2002. Without half-hearted post-mortem, the 59 half-burnt bodies of the Godhra incident were handed over to the President of Gujarat Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Shri Jaydeep Patel by the Chief Minister Narendra Modi himself, travelling 250 kms. And most importantly, despite the opposition of the woman collector of Godhra, Smt. Jayanti V Ravi. Which opportunity in a disaster was it to hand over the bodies to the people of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal with the help of the Mamlatdar of Godhra?
Which is legally allowed except handing over the bodies to the next of kin! Which is Gujarat Police Manual Vol. As provided in Rule 144,145,223 and 224 where you will find salutary provisions recommending a quick dispatch of the bodies for postmortem to the nearest Hospital, prohibition of teking photographs which are revolting in nature and quite disposal of dead bodies keeping in mind the sensibilities of the victim’s relative. And yet in violation of statutory rules on that fretful day, all the bodies were transported to Ahmedabad"
’legal malpractice’
Further "Clearly 59 bodies could not have moved more than 200 kilometers to Ahmedabad without the knowledge of the chief minister, the chief Secretary and Director General of police. Clearly, an intentional violation of procedure was done for the call for Gujarat Bandh given by the political party which constituted the government in Gandhinagar. In violating a laid - down procedure, legal malice is established beyond doubt and when this legal mallce has manifested itself into wide violence resulting in massive carnage spread across the States, elements of criminal conspiracy are clearly established "
Those bodies were loaded on trucks without covering them! A procession was taken out in Ahmedabad, the capital of Gujarat! And from 28 February, a Gujarat bandh was declared in the entire Gujarat by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal and BJP and RSS! And despite the Kerala High Court banning the bandh, the ruling party supported the bandh! Meaning, who else could be there who used the half-burnt bodies of the Godhra incident as fuel to incite the Gujarat riots except those who look for opportunities in disasters?
But it is surprising that neither the Nanavati Commission nor the SIT appointed by the Supreme Court paid attention to all these issues! And in December 2013, Narendra Modi was given a clean chit! Did the downfall of India’s judicial institutions begin after independence in the name of so-called justice for the Gujarat riots and where and what kind of negligence was committed by the police-administration in this case?
But some people say that the record of giving the highest punishment is in the cases of Gujarat riots. Today I am surprised that the main culprit who did politics of the entire riot as part of a conspiracy is safe and sound but by increasing the size of his 44 inch chest by one feet, he is today in the position of Hindu Hriday Samrat and is crushing the chests of 140 crore population. And is selling the public property of the country at throwaway prices. From the Parliament to the judiciary, the administration, he is using all the constitutional institutions only and only for his political interests. And is trying to defame the common workers and farmers.
Despite that, under the leadership of RSS vanguard squads, names were checked in voter list in a planned manner and gas cylinders used for cooking and petrol cans were used. This was the first state-sponsored riot in the history of independent India which was so planned. It is also known as Gujarat Experiment. Therefore, first of all, I would like to mention Justice V.R. Krishna Iyer’s preface to the 508-page Gujarat riots inquiry commission named Crime Against Humanity. The then Cabinet Minister Mr. Haren Pandya had told that "In the cabinet meeting on the night of 27 February 2002, Narendra Modi said that "no one will stop whatever reaction Hindus will have in Gujarat from tomorrow". On hearing this, Justice Krishna Iyer asked Haren Pandya that!" Aren’t you afraid to say this?" And Justice Krishna Iyer’s prediction has come true! I’ll begin by quoting a few lines from his Foreword, printed on the front page! "What a shock and shame that INDIA’S fair Secular name should suffer dastardly disgrace through the recent Government - abetted Gujarat communal rage, compounded by grisly Genocide Carnage and savage arsonous pillage, victimising people of Muslim vintage - and unkindest cut of all’ -allegedly executed with the monstrous abetment of chief minister Modi his colleagues and party goons. The gravamen of this pogrom-like operation was that the administration reversed its constitutional role and by omission and commission, engineered the loot, ravishmen and murder wich was methodically perpetrated through planned process by chauvinist VHP elements, goaded by terrorist appetite. What ensued was a ghastly sight the like of which, since bleeding partition days, no Indian eye had seen, no Indian heart had conceived and of which no Indian tongue could adequately tell. Hindutva barbarians came out on the streets in different parts of Gujarat and in all flaming fury, targeted innocent and helpless Muslims who had nothing to do with the antecedent Godhra event. They were brutalized by miscreants uninhabited by the police; their women were unblushingly molested; and Muslim men, women and children, in a travesty of justice, were burnt alive. The chief minister, othe - bound to defend law and order, vicariously connived at the inhuman violence and some of his ministers even commanded the macabre acts of horror.
There was no one to question the malevolent managers of communal massacre. The criminal outrage, there was no one in uniform to resist, not even to record information of the felonies. Nor was there any impartial official to render succour or assure civilized peace. When government failed and the local media distorted the truth. The Fascist trend flourished and the barbaric, fanatic, rapist human animals remained unchecked.
Awakened by this sinister scenario, people of consciousness, all over the country, felt the gory, catastrophe merited investigation,
For the first time in the history of Indian parliamentary politics after independence, the latest example of an Indian politician building his political career on riots is the current Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi, whom he himself has termed as finding an opportunity in a disaster.
Now he has become a role model for all those people whose conscience has been destroyed. And this is the biggest cause of worry. Because by creating such religious bases, political parties are a threat to the unity and integrity of a multi-religious, multi-ethnic, multi-cultural country like India.
And the poetry of a writer like me who carries the whole world under the protection of his Guru! Who started his life singing prayers like "Khara to ekchi dharm jagaala prem aarpave" (The true religion is that which teaches to offer love to the whole world!)! Can Narendra Modi ever become a role model for someone like this? This is hard to believe! Because when I go abroad and say that I have come from India, I am told that O you are coming from Gandhi’s country!
Due to the population of this role model of Gujarat from his birth caste (Teli) being less than two percent of the total population of Gujarat, when Narendra Modi was sent from Delhi to Gujarat in October 2001, after removing Gujarat Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel, the Chief Minister of Gujarat BJP in power, for some time on an emergency basis due to a dispute. And the most important thing is that Narendra Modi was only seventeen years old, after becoming a RSS volunteer, he was sent to BJP by the Sangh after forming BJP in the eighties (1985). But due to the internal disputes in Gujarat BJP, his name was appointed to the post of Chief Minister in October 2001 in a low profile manner. And before that he had not even participated in the Gram Panchayat elections. So after becoming the Chief Minister, due to the rule of becoming a member of the Legislative Assembly within six months, he needed a safe seat. So, from the Ahmedabad city seat named Ellisbridge. Haren Pandya, elected with a record margin, was asked by Narendra Modi to resign to make room for himself, but Haren Pandya flatly refused.
So he won the Rajkot assembly elections on 24 October. And after that, he wanted to strengthen his political hold. This was naturally his first priority. And he used the opportunity in the disaster of Godhra incident, which he had since his childhood, due to the education and training of Hindutva by the Sangh, to become the emperor of Hindu hearts. And he has successfully implemented the plan to make Indian parliamentary democracy the center point of the politics of a particular religion. This is his search for opportunity in disaster. And he himself travelled 250 kms from Ahmedabad to Godhra in the afternoon and reached directly during the ceremony of dissection of the bodies burnt in the Godhra incident. He called the Mamlatdar in custody of Vishwa Hindu Parishad President Jaideep Patel and after completing the so-called formalities, loaded all the half burnt bodies in open trucks and took out a procession on the roads of Ahmedabad from the morning of 28 February 2002. What law and order was going to be restored? Or was this also a search for opportunity in disaster?
The second important point is that if a state needs the army to maintain law and order, then the Chief Minister himself writes to call the army. Then the Commander-in-Chief takes the decision. So, after the Godhra incident, the Indian Army was called on 28 February 2002 or the next day. And it was not allowed to come out of the Ahmedabad airport for three days after its arrival. Meaning, the formalities of law and order were done, but on paper, not on the ground. Was it a search for an opportunity in the disaster in not allowing the army to come out of the Ahmedabad airport for three days?
In view of the Gujarat riots, the Commander in Chief of the Indian Army, General Padmanabhan, under the leadership of Lieutenant General Jamiruddin Shah, landed 3000 soldiers in 63 aircraft at the Ahmedabad Airport on 1 March, but the state did not allow them to leave the Ahmedabad Airport until 3 March as they were not provided logistics by the state. This is Justice Krishna Iyer’s "What a shock and shame that India’s fair Secular name should suffer drastically disgrace through the recent government - abetted Gujarat communal rage, compounded by grisly Genocidal carnage and savage arsonous pillage, victimising people of Muslim vintage - and ’unkindest cut of all’ - allegedly executed with the monstrous abetment of chief minister Modi, his colleagues and party goons. Administration reversed its CONSTITUTIONAL ROLL! And by omissions and commission, engineered the loot, ravishment and murder which was methodically perpetrated through planned process by chauvinist VHP elements, goaded by terrorist appetite.
At the time of 75th anniversary of independence, such communal minded people remaining in power is a matter of concern for the unity and integrity of a multicultural country like India. The biggest example of this is that 20 years ago when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had said that "You did not follow Rajdharma!" And today he is the top officer of a country with a population of 140 crores! Looking at his work style of the last ten years! It does not seem that he has any affection for all the people living in India? From the removal of 370 from Kashmir, the Citizenship Bill, Love Jihad, ban on cow slaughter, the process of building temples to Hijab, Civil Code, to deliberately scare the minority communities, a pandemic like Corona is also used! India’s aggressive Hindutva nationalism with Gujarat model! The ones who scare the minority communities are Adityanath or Hemant Vishwa Sharma or Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself or Home Minister Amit Shah! All of them have reached these important positions after taking oath on the Indian Constitution!
And the way BJP is creating pure political uproar for the last two weeks over the atrocities committed against a woman doctor in West Bengal is 100% a conspiracy being run under Narendra Modi’s search for opportunity in disasters! I have written earlier also that 88 women are being tortured every day in India and the number of Dalit and tribal women is the highest in this and almost all the states of India are involved in atrocities against women. On the same day of the incident with the woman doctor of Calcutta, a Dalit girl was tortured in Muzaffarpur, Bihar! And on the same day in Badlapur near Mumbai in Maharashtra, despite incidents of atrocities against three-year-old girls, BJP is nothing but an attempt to remove Mamata Banerjee only on the Bengal incident, which is an attempt to find an opportunity in disaster! If BJP is so concerned about atrocities against women, then why are they not organizing such agitations against the atrocities being committed against women in Badlapur, Muzaffarpur, Manipur and other BJP ruled states? Is this just an attempt to find an opportunity in the disaster to remove Mamata Banerjee?
